What this website collects, where it goes, and what it doesn't do.
This page covers the website bloomrealtyinsurance.com. It's written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, call us at 609-345-2203.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into a form on this site. For a quote request, that can include:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your date of birth, if you choose to give it
- The address of the property or business you want insured, and your mailing address
- Details about the property or business, such as the year it was built, updates, and past claims
- Your mortgage company and loan number, if you give them
- Anything you write in the comments box
We ask you not to send Social Security, driver's license, or bank account numbers through the website.
Where it goes
When you send a quote request, the website emails your answers to our office. The website itself doesn't keep a copy: there is no customer database behind it.
An agent uses what you sent to contact you and to ask insurance companies for quotes on your behalf. That means sharing the relevant details with the insurance companies and wholesale brokers we work with. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
The shorter forms for clients (certificate requests, policy change requests, claim details, and the contact form) work the same way: what you type is emailed to our office and isn't stored by the website. Those forms can include a policy number and a description of a loss. Unlike the quote form, they send nothing until you press the send button.
If you start a quote and don't finish
Once you've entered your name and a phone number or email in the quote form, the website sends our office what you've entered so far if you leave the page or stop for about ten minutes. We do this so that someone who gets interrupted still hears back from us. The form tells you this at the point where you enter your contact details. If you'd rather we didn't follow up, tell us when we call or email and we'll stop.
While you fill in the quote form or one of the client forms, your answers are also held in your own browser so they aren't lost if the page reloads. That copy stays on your device and is cleared when you send the form or close the browser tab. After you send a quote request, the page that follows can show you what you sent so you can check or print it. That is also held only in your browser tab, and it goes when you close the tab.
Other companies involved
- Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the security check on our forms (Turnstile), which looks at signals from your browser to tell people from automated spam.
- Google provides the address suggestions in the quote form and the office map. When you use them, your browser contacts Google, which sees your IP address and what you type in the address box.
- Microsoft provides the email service that delivers your request to our office.
What this website doesn't do
- No advertising or tracking cookies
- No analytics that follow you from site to site
- No accounts or passwords
- No online payments. “Pay a bill” opens our payment provider's own website.
